Poor Little Critters are Bob Romanowski and Carsten Wegener. The two met in Berlin in the late eighties when Bob was looking for a bass for his band at the time, The Beatitudes. Carsten had a bass and the right outfit for a beat combo. But after three albums together, the band split up.

But after the band is before the band. In 1991 the two founded the POOR LITTLE CRITTERS to take their common musical path to a new level. Between 1991 and 1993 the POOR LITTLE CRITTERS give concerts in different line-ups and record demos.

The album "Anthology (Berlin 1991-93)" collects the studio recordings and rehearsals of the POOR LITTLE CRITTERS for the first time.


Poor Little Critters sind Bob Romanowski und Carsten Wegener. Die beiden trafen sich Ende der Achtziger in Berlin, als Bob einen Bass für seine damalige Band, The Beatitudes, suchte. Carsten hatte einen Bass und das richtige Outfit für eine Beat Combo. Doch nach drei gemeinsamen Alben trennt sich die Band.

Aber nach der Band ist vor der Band. 1991 gründen die beiden die POOR LITTLE CRITTERS, um den gemeinsamen musikalischen Weg auf eine neue Ebene zu heben. Zwischen 1991 und 1993 geben die POOR LITTLE CRITTERS in verschiedenen Besetzungen Konzerte und nehmen Demos auf.

Das Album „Anthology (Berlin 1991-93)“ fasst die Studioaufnahmen und Rehearsals der POOR LITTLE CRITTERS zum ersten Mal zusammen.
